Japanese citizen is the winner of the Mini Cooper-S

Lima, June 10 2010: Today, Lima Airport Partners, the private operator of Jorge Chávez International Airport, held the draw for the British-made modern version of the Mini-Cooper-S, with the winning ticket belonging to the Japanese citizen Atsushi Kamishima.

 

Mr. Kamishima, before boarding his flight, ate at the Manacarú restaurant, located in the International Terminal, and deposited his coupon in the urns provided for that purpose in Peru’s most important airport. In this way, he became the lucky winner of a brand-new Mini Cooper-S.

 

Lima Airport Partners (LAP) is the private sector operator of Jorge Chávez International Airport. The partnership composition of LAP is as follows: Fraport AG., operator of Frankfurt Airport and other important airports around the world (Egypt, Bulgaria, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, China, Senegal and India) with 70.01%; International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, with 19.99%; and the Fund for Investment in Infrastructure, Public Services and Natural Resources, managed by AC Capitales SAFI S.A., with 10%. As of May 2010, LAP has invested more than US$ 268 million in the modernization of Jorge Chávez International Airport, and it has transferred more than US$ 643 million in payments to the Peruvian state during the first 9 years of the concession.
